Aura is a fully real-time data-connected vehicle allowing for a digital twin to display
a fully synchronised version of the centre console and driver display on an independent
off-board Android tablet application.
Aura utilises various components within the Google Cloud Platform, ultimately delivering
a real-time connection between the vehicle and various connected applications and
is based entirely on AOSP (Android Automotive OS).
Aura is powered by a rear-wheel drive all-electric powertrain, capable of a range of over 400 miles through two 44kWh batteries (total 88kWh).
Packaged innovatively, the situation of the cells improves driver dynamics and engagement due to the neutral weight distribution, with the engine bay pack located at the front of Aura and an undertray pack bolted underneath the chassis.
